STUDIO POLICIES

  • Bookings, payments and cancellations must be made through Mindbody.​

  • Cancellations or appointment changes made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full fee.​​ â€‹

  • New clients should start with at least one private session to assess their individual needs and develop a strong understanding of the basics of Pilates. We offer this first individual session half price.​

  • First time half price session offered to London residents only and not available to use with Teacher Trainers.​​​

  • Please wear fitted clothing that you can move comfortably in and clean socks, socks are mandatory. It is best to tie long hair back and do not wear jewellery.​

  • Please avoid wearing zips or buttons on the back of your clothing as it damages the equipment.​

  • Please arrive 5 minutes early for your first session.​

  • Group classes will normally, though not always, be taught by the named teacher. Kinetic Pilates reserves the right to substitute teachers as needed.​

  • All classes and sessions last 55 minutes.​​​

  • If any outstanding payment hasn't been made within 7 days, the studio reserves the right to charge a £10 admin fee.​

  • We run a strict 24 hour cancellation policy for all classes and sessions.​

  • Kinetic Pilates does not issue refunds - however payment can be gifted to another party without penalty and with approval of management within 3 months of purchase.​

  • Classes are taken at your own risk.​

  • Individuals are responsible for themselves and need to skip or modify exercises as necessary.​

  • Ensure you have read and understood the different levels of the classes and only take the ones appropriate for you. If you are unsure as to what type of class would be suitable for you please contact the studio.

  •  All sessions and group classes (both in-studio and online) are not suitable for anyone who has not been signed off by a medical professional following injury, or other health issues which may affect your ability to exercise.

  • Kinetic Pilates will not be held responsible for any injury following our online sessions​.

Opening Specials T&Cs

  • Available for purchase until 1 March 2025

  • Valid to use until 31 March 2025

  • Only one special per account

  • Discounted first time private not available for purchase alongside the specials, with exception of the Class Special

  • First time private available to purchase alongside the Class Special

  • ​Offers available only to new clients

Discounted Packs T&Cs

  • Discounted Packs are available to purchase until 31 March 2025​

  • Please check the use validity of each pack upon purchase on MindBody

  • Only one discounted pack per account

 

Intro to Pilates T&Cs​​

  • Intro classes must have a minimum of 2 people registered in order to run

  • Missed classes can be used towards another scheduled Intro course (depending on availability) but can not be applied towards a different GEC class or extended past the expiry date of 5 weeks. 

  • In order to move a class to another Intro class as 24hr notice is required in line with our 24hr cancellation policy

  • Offer only for new clients 

  • Group Classes are not appropriate for injuries. If you are injured or not sure if group classes are appropriate please book a first time half price private prior to joining class.

Memberships T&Cs​

General T&C's

  • Payment comes out by direct debit on 1st of each month.

  • Memberships run for a minimum contract of 6 months and auto renew on a rolling basis.

  • 1st month is a trial month. Please let us know one week before the month ends if you would like to end your membership.

Cancellations and changes

  • Cancellation of membership is only permitted during trial period or after completion of minimum contract period.

  • 1 month cancellation policy after the minimum contract is fulfilled (cancellation must occur by email before payment is taken on the 1st of the month) (ie: for cancellation to begin 1 May, we must be informed in writing before the 31 March)

  • Upgrading of membership is permitted mid minimum 6 month contract and will not affect the 6 month counting.

  • Downgrading contract is permitted mid 6 month minimum contract, but will reset the 6 month count to zero without the 1st month trial.

Membership pausing

  • Memberships may be frozen for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months. Exceptions to freeze length may be made at the Kinetic's discretion for special cases of injury, illness, and pregnancy.

  • Freezing fee is £32/month.

  • Each client can use 2 freezes per calendar year. Freezes can be stacked when needing to freeze for longer periods.

  • Frozen months do not count toward the 6 month minimum contract. Counting will resume when freezing period ends.

  • Freezing must be done by written request to city@kineticpilates.com one week prior to the 1st of the month. Once payment is taken on the 1st of the month a freeze is no longer possible for the respective month.

  • Classes can be taken during the freezing period at the membership value.

  • Freezing fee cannot be used towards the purchase of classes, sessions, or store products.

Membership classes and schedule

  • Maximum of sessions month respective to each membership. Additional sessions can be bought at drop in price.

  • Multiple sessions can be taken in a week up to the respective maximum per month, availability permitting.

  • GEC memberships offer access to any GEC's on Schedule (Reformer Group Class or Tower Group Class)

  • Strict 24 hours cancellation policy.

  • Classes run 12 months a year.

  • Reduced Group Equipment Classes schedule during Easter, Summer, and Christmas holidays.

  • Teacher availability for Privates may be reduced during Easter, Summer, and Christmas holidays.
